In Crooked Wings, Kechi is a manager at Ultraviolet Industries Inc,. whoThe protagonists (when they learn of the working conditions for the company's manual laborers) approach him for help. He earnestly attempts to advance their cause, but is disinterested in operating outside of existing company policy or Cordann's laws. When the LABOR MOVEMENT advances, he finds himself tasked with quelling the union movements by the manual laborers who work in the fields.them. He is a true believer in the Liberal movement, and his ardent nationalism is enforced not by rank tribality. Rather, it comes from a genuine belief in that Cordann is the global vanguard of individual's freedom, and right to personal property. He is wary and distrustful of collective organizations that promote regulations in both the public and private sphere. This means that he responds to his job assignment with great zeal. He has a charming brashness to him, though his self-assured arrogance and eagerness for conflict mean that some find him dislikable.
